Which phones support SimJu eSIMs?

eSIM is supported on:

  • iPhone: XS, XR, and all newer models. iPhone 14 and 15 in the US are eSIM-only.
  • Google Pixel: Pixel 3 and newer (Pixel 3a included).
  • Samsung Galaxy: S20 series and newer, all Z Fold and Z Flip models.
  • Other Android: Most flagship devices from 2020 onward — check your manufacturer's spec sheet for "eSIM" support.

Your device must also be carrier-unlocked. If you're on a contract phone, contact your home carrier to unlock it before traveling.

How do I install and activate my eSIM?
  1. After purchase, check your email for the QR code from esim@simju.com.
  2. On your phone: Settings → Mobile / Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR code.
  3. Point your camera at the QR code. The profile installs in under a minute.
  4. When you land at your destination, go to Settings and switch your active data line to SimJu.
  5. Enable Data Roaming on the SimJu line if prompted. You're online.

Tip: Install the eSIM at home before you fly — it's easier on a stable Wi-Fi connection.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you have not activated the eSIM yet.

After activation, we refund any unused full days remaining on plans of 7 days or longer. For example, if you activate a 30-day plan and stop using it after 10 days, we'll refund 20 days of unused time.

What happens when I run out of data?

We send an email and push notification when you reach 80% of your data allowance. When you hit 100%, your data connection pauses.

You can top up the same eSIM from the SimJu app or your account dashboard — data is added instantly, no new QR code needed. Top-ups never reset your plan timer.

Can I use the same eSIM across multiple trips?

Yes. Once your eSIM profile is installed on your phone, it stays there permanently. For each new trip, simply buy a new plan from your SimJu account and it loads onto the same eSIM profile — no new QR scan required.

Regional plans (e.g. "Europe 10 GB") work across all countries in that region without switching anything.
